The Riverview Theater in Norfolk, VA is a historic movie house with a rich legacy. Located at 3910 Granby Street, it opened on October 8, 1947, as a premier entertainment venue. During its heyday, the theater was known for:Roadshow presentations and reserved seating Showcasing 70mm films Long-running engagements, most notably "The Sound of Music," which played for an impressive 115 weeks in the 1960s.

The renovated theater plans to open in 2025 and will feature live performances, movie screenings, civic discussions, and more!
